When Lori Pace launched Tomball-based ADIM Media in 2016, she did so by transforming a powerhouse blog into a full-service marketing operation committed to propelling businesses to new heights. However, as Lori pivoted, she opted to remain true to the blog’s name and many of the values at its core. Thus, A Day in Motherhood blog morphed into ADIM Media. The name became abbreviated, but the offerings became elevated.
“Mothers in general, and I don't think this is surprising to anybody, are multitaskers,” Pace, a mother to three daughters, noted. “Mothers just have a lot on our plates. We have no other option.”
Guided by principles of trust, respect and reputation, a trio of teaching points nearly all mothers hope to pass along, ADIM Media has served more than 100 companies since its inception. The firm’s toolbox is coated in creativity and offers social media management, website design/management, graphic design, photography/videography, Google services and email marketing.
“We will do everything that we know how to do to help grow your business in a way that develops a trust and a lasting relationship you actually see a benefit from,” Pace, the creator and owner of ADIM Media, stated. “We can't do our job if we're not a team member of yours - that's just the reality. So, yes, we're marketing, but even more than that: we are trying to build a relationship.”
Pace says ADIM takes a “one size fits none” approach to helping clients set trends - rather than follow them. And her own path, the one she traversed while going from an undergraduate student to leading a thriving marketing operation, is certainly unique, too.
After originally embarking on a pre-med track, Lori earned a finance degree from the University of Houston. After college, she worked as an underwriter for oil and gas loans and later as an international trader in brokerage. While those careers provided her with valuable experience, Lori says her biggest takeaway was the people skills.
“Both those jobs taught me how to work with different kinds of people,” Lori said. “With ADIM, success is not monetary - it's relationship built, and it all has to do with reputation. The only way to keep that reputation is to respect people as much as they respect me.”
After transitioning ADIM Media’s day-to-day operations from her garage to an office setting in 2021, Pace says she saw her business spike 250 percent as she added staff and services. She now employs four full-time teammates and one part-time teammate in the office building she owns on Village Square Drive. Lori could’ve picked anywhere to open an office. However, just like she did decades ago when specifically choosing the Tomball-area to raise her daughters, Pace once again knew Tomball is exactly where she wanted to be.
“Tomball is small America with big ideas,” Pace described. “The people here are accepting. Tomball has a vision and is supportive of other people's vision.”
Pace said she quickly realized city partners, like the Tomball Economic Development Corporation, are driven to produce results through collaboration with local businesses. “They'll help you with grants if you're improving Tomball in any way,” Pace said of the Tomball EDC. “At any time of day, I can walk into any business and have a conversation. They’re willing to talk, and willing to share and willing to be a partner in Tomball's success. It’s a small-town vibe with a big vision, and I just love it.”
Bolstered by Tomball’s pride in promoting, assisting and engaging with local businesses, ADIM Media has used innovative approaches and creative campaigns to help elevate numerous brands. CEO/Owner Lori Pace has helped engineer those achievements by standing firm on many of the ideals that helped her find early success – even the name of her blog.
