The Tomball Economic Development Corporation announces two personnel updates involving staff members with deep roots in the City of Tomball.
Project Manager Tori Gleason, PCED, departs from the TEDC after more than a decade of service to the organization and the Tomball community. Tori joined the EDC as an intern in 2016 and grew into a full-time Project Manager, earning her Professional Community and Economic Developer (PCED) certification along the way. Her work supporting local business expansion and driving strategic initiatives leaves a lasting mark on Tomball's economic landscape. The TEDC congratulates Tori on her next chapter as she transitions to a managerial role with another municipality.
The TEDC also welcomes John Kelley as its new Marketing and Communications Manager. John brings more than 11 years of service to the City of Tomball, most recently as a Lieutenant with Tomball Fire Rescue, along with a background in marketing, creative content, and client relationships. In his new role, he will lead TEDC's business recruitment messaging, stakeholder engagement, and branding efforts. John is a Tomball resident and a familiar face across the community he now serves in a new capacity.
“We’re grateful for the many contributions Tori made during her time with us and excited to see what’s ahead for her," said Kelly Violette, Executive Director of the Tomball Economic Development Corporation. "We’re also pleased to officially welcome John to the team. His deep ties to the community and strong marketing expertise make him an excellent fit for this role.”
